01 · PRODUCTION
Producing across borders, in both directions
For seven years, Selma Mehmetoglu worked as a producer moving projects between markets. She took Turkish productions abroad, with shoots in South Africa, Argentina and Chile, and post-production in Germany and London.
She also worked in the other direction, hosting international productions in Türkiye and coordinating directors, models and crew arriving from abroad. Her work across the Middle East includes commercials, music videos and film production, with clients and partners in Dubai and across the region.
Working in a market that is not your own teaches you what delivery actually depends on: who to call, what needs to be agreed early, where local knowledge changes the plan and which decisions cannot wait until the team lands.
02 · EXHIBITIONS & CONFERENCES
An exhibition programme across the Gulf
As Event Marketing Manager, META at CleverTap, Selma ran the company’s exhibition and conference programme across the Gulf.
Between 2022 and 2023, this included STEP Conference Dubai and STEP Saudi, Seamless Saudi Arabia and Seamless Middle East, and Vibe Martech Fest UAE, alongside closed-door roundtables and invitation-only mixers in the UAE and Kuwait.
Every exhibition stand in the programme was a raw-space build. Each began with a bare floor and was specified and built for the project, in a different city and with a different contractor. The work covered stand specification, contractor management, organiser and venue approvals, AV and technical production, speaker and keynote preparation, and on-site delivery supporting the sales team.
03 · WHY BOSPHORUS OFFICE
International experience, locally accountable
Selma founded Bosphorus Office for companies delivering work in Türkiye without needing to build a local office around it.
The service reflects more than a decade of working on both sides of international delivery: one accountable lead on the ground, a clear operating structure and local knowledge available when decisions and delivery require it.
